We want you to buy from us with
confidence. Our No-Hassle Return Policy is designed to treat you fairly
and not penalize you for changing your mind. It’s also designed to
protect you in the event the merchandise you purchase proves to be
defective.
While the vast majority of the products we sell are
simple to return, there are a few exceptions and restrictions as
explained below.
Returning Merchandise to Fishing Gateway
Items
in original, unused condition, including all packaging and accessories,
may be returned for exchange, credit or refund to the Fishing Gateway
warehouse, upon our verification of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Fishing Gateway cannot accept returns of the following items:
- Clearance Items
- Items with Expiration Dates (e.g.- flares, charts and annual publications)
- Items Registered to the User (e.g.- EPIRBs, PLBs, SPOT and Class B AIS)
- Computer Software and Electronics Charts
- Items which have been damaged due to improper installation or operation
- Gift Cards
Restocking Fees
The following items are subject to a 20% restocking fee:
- Items that are not defective and were ordered in error by you.
- Special Orders.
Refund Methods
Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original purchase. See the chart below for applicable reimbursement terms:
Within 30 Days after purchase:
If you pay via:
- Credit Card or Debit Card with MC or Visa
- Debit Card w/o MC or Visa
- Gift Card
Then you will receive:
- Credit back to the same Credit or Debit card**
- Company Credit as Fishing Gateway Gift Card**
- Company credit, issued as a Fishing Gateway Gift Card

We are unable to return funds to debit cards without the MasterCard or
Visa insignia. Debit Cards without the MasterCard or Visa insignia will
be credited via company credit issued as a Fishing Gateway Gift Card.Over 30 Days after purchase:
If you pay via:
- Credit Card, Debit Card or Gift Card
Then you will receive:
- Company Credit as Fishing Gateway Gift Card
Defective Items
If an item proves to be defective within
30 days it may be returned for exchange, credit or refund to the
Fishing Gateway warehouse, upon our verification of purchase. After 30
days but within the applicable warranty period, defective items will be
repaired or replaced per the manufacturer’s warranty policy.

To
make it easier and faster for you, our Electronics manufactures
authorized repair facility request that you first contact them, before
returning the item to us, as they can often solve the problem quickly
and easily over the phone and you may not have to remove the product
from your boat or go through the hassle of returning it. If you believe
an electronic item is defective, please first call the manufacturer’s
phone number listed in the item’s packaging materials. If the
Manufacturer cannot solve the problem over the phone, they will advise
you on what to do next; whether it be working through Fishing Gateway or
dealing directly with them.

After we have verified the sale, we will issue a Company Credit.

- Please call us at 08 9534 3368 before returning your items.
- Fishing Gateway will not pay for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error in your order.
- We will replace defective units and exchange for the same model and style only.
- Items must be returned in new and original condition.
- Include all original accessories, warranty card, and the original box.
- Pack the merchandise securely to prevent damage.
- For your protection, please insure the package for its full value.
